This is the place where you can define various categories to group the different type of groups. This is applicable only when you have enabled public groups.

For example, you can create a category “CRICKET NEWS” as a category and you can add “WORLDCUP 2011” as a public group under the above category.

Remember this group categories can be created only from the administrator login.









Field Definitions
Category Name – Name of the category. In the front-end a menu item can be created for this category.

Description – Description of the category. This is for information purpose only.

Published – Set the category to publish or not.

Order – Defines the category order.
