I have a situation I'm trying to correct. I run a local sports club and am using Jeema SMS for communications. I have following problem though

Say I have three members who want to send SMS to committee
It Looks like I have to setup separate address books and groups for each member which is duplicating all the information about a shared group. Is it possible to have shared address book/group entries? If not it would seem like a good enhancement

Another suggestion could be that a mapping between joomla user and Jeema user could be used so multiple joomla users could use SAME jeema user. I may have to pursue this myself as I need a solution to this quite quickly

Hi,

As of now JEEMA SMS doesn't have shared address book concept.

We can do this as an enhancement for your needs.

1. Any member can create a group and can set that group as private or public.
2. Public groups can be viewed by all members.
3. The owner of the public group only can add or delete members from that group
4. Others can only send SMS to that public group

Is this requirement is ok?

Those requirements would seem to be OK for group processing

The only comment I would make which is not dorectly related is whether or not address book entries can be made public in a similar way - eg there are some obvious common entries in our sport club eg chairman, secretary etc.

If so would you have a schedule in mind?

I need to put something in place for my club and trying to finalise ideas for this
