Special Entries Module 5 Months, 1 Week ago

I have just installed this module and have a similar problem on understanding what is meant by the following;
Special Entry Field and Special Entry Value
I have assumed that the Special Entry Field is the Custom Field ie field_special
and the Special Entry Value is the Custom Field ID
I have ticked the checkbox in a number of entry's that are to be viewed in the module. But nothing happens.
Please advise
Best regards
jeff
Note: If no one knows how to manage this module, i think that i shall uninstall and look for an alternative. I believe the creator should at leats post an image of the backend module to give a very basic understanding of the type of entry required to make it wok.

Hi this is not my module, but I got it to work by using a textinput box and using a single letter. So if as in my other post, create a custom entry as a textbox, restrict the entry to just 1 character. Then in the entry listing itself put 'y' or whatever you want to signify this entry to display in the module.
In the module paramaters put in the field #, and the matching "y" ....
I originally used the state listing as all my listings were in GA. So i just defined the 'value' as "GA" and they all appeared.
Hope that helps...cheers
