JEEMA Article Collection comes with a set of menu paramters that you you need set based on your requirement. The parameter fields can be classified into three different categories (General Parameters, Short View Parameters & Long View Parameters)
Following are the parameters fields and its explanations.
General Parameters General parameters are parameters that are common for both shortview and long view.
Select a section: Select the Joomla article section to display. This field is a mandatory field.
Category Order: Select the order in which categories to be displayed. The default order is the "Most Recent First". You can override this field as per your requirement.
Article Order: Select the order in which articles to be displayed under each category. The default order is the "Oldest First". You can override this field as per your requirement.
Show Article Count: Enabling this will show the total number of articles within a bracket after the category title.
Show Seq.No: Enabling this will show a running sequence number for each article under the category.
Show Book Icon: Enabling this will show a book icon for each article under the category.
Show Hits: Enabling this will show the article hits for each article under the category.
Select a Template: This defines the color theme for the component. By defualt the value for this field will be "default". If you are good in CSS you can define your own style for the component.
ShortView Parameters Shortview parameters are only specific to the short view
No. Of. Columns: Defines the number of columns to be displayed in the short view.
Table Width: Set the table width for the short view. By default the table width will be set as "100%".
Table Align: Set the table align for the short view. By default the table align will be set as "left".
Show Pagination: Enabling this will show the Joomla pagination (Navigation) in the footer place.
No.Of. Articles: Defines the number of articles to be displayed under each category.
Title Length: Defines the number of characters to be displayed as article title. This will be helpfull to show long article titles in a shorter way.
More Articles: Set this field with some text to display as last row under each category to display the long view
LongView Parameters Longview parameters are only specific to the long view
Title Length: Defines the number of characters to be displayed as article title in the long view.
Table Width: Set the table width for the short view. By default the table width will be set as "100%".
Table Align: Set the table align for the short view. By default the table align will be set as "left".
