The SMS Contacts is the place where you can store all your SMS address contacts.  A SMS contact can be mapped to any number of SMS groups.



Field Definitions:
SMS Account – Select the SMS account name for this address book contact

Name – Give the name of the address book contact

Mobile No – Give the mobile number for the address book contact.  Please check with your SMS gate way provider whether the country code is mandatory or not.  If the country code is mandatory then your mobile number should prefixed with the country code.  If not the SMS may fail.

E-Mail – You store the E-mail address of the address book contact.

Notes – This I just a free text.  You can enter any information about this address book contact

Select Group – It’s mandatory to select the SMS address group of which this particular address book contact is belonging.  A single address book contact may belong to multiple address groups.

Note: Remember that normally whenever a visitor subscribe to a particular group then a corresponding entry will be created in the SMS contact and assigned to the respective group
