Send SMS is a place where the website administrators can send SMS to their members. Members can only send SMS from their front-end view.




Field Definitions:

SMS Account – The SMS account name of the administrator.

Sender ID – Once the SMS account is selected, automatically all the applicable sender names for the account will be provided here.  Select any of the sender names for this SMS.

SMS Template – Once the SMS template is selected, content of the selected template will be populated in message field.

To – This is the place where you need to type your mobile numbers. Multiple mobile numbers can be inputted by coma separated.  Remember if country code is mandatory then all mobile numbers should prefix with the country codes.

Message – This is the place where you actually type the text message.  In the right side, you will be able to see how many characters are valid and also you can see the number of characters typed.  Messages greater than specified number of characters will be truncated.

Notes – This is just a free text used for our reference.  This will not be added as part of SMS.

Schedule SMS – Enable this if you want to schedule the SMS for a different later time

Schedule Time – Select the calendar and give the date & time to send the SMS

Note: SMS Scheduling is only applicable on Linux hosting provided your hosting provider supports CronJob

Once all the mandatory values are filled, you can hit the “Send” button to send SMS.
