SMS Accounts is used to create different accounts for different users. Only a valid SMS account holder can send SMS via the Joomla website. This SMS account is also act as a reseller.
If you buy 1,00,000 credits from ClickaTell and if you want to share these 1,00,000 credits to 10 different Joomla members, then you need to create 10 users in Joomla User Manager and create 10 SMS accounts in SMS account with 10,000 SMS credits for each account.

Field Definitions
User Name – This defines the SMS Account name for the Joomla Member. You need to select the Joomla Member to create a SMS account. Once the SMS account is created it is not possible to change the user name.
Total SMS – This defines the total number of SMS that this account is eligible to send.
Used SMS – This tells you the total number of SMS credits that the SMS account was already used. This field will be automatically updated.
Remaining SMS – This tells you the remaining number of SMS credits that the SMS account still have. This field will be automatically updated. While creating the SMS account for the first time you should set this field.
Sender ID Count – The value in this field determines the maximum number of sender names (from names) is eligible for this SMS account.
Created – This defines the SMS Account creation date.
Expired – This defines the SMS Account expiration date. Users can only send SMS before the expiration date. If he tries to send he will get an error message that your account has been expired.
Notes – This field is just for internal purpose and for admin reference. You can store any information about the SMS account.
Settings – This determines which SMS API has to be linked to this SMS Account. By default the default SMS Settings will be selected. This can be overridden.
Message Prefix – This field is used for advertisement purposes. You can define any text here that will be prefixed to the actual SMS message sent by the user.
Message Suffix – This field is used for advertisement purposes. You can define any text here that will be suffixed to the actual SMS message sent by the user.
