You can define some general global parameters under JEEMA SMS Parameters. You can see the “Parameters” at the right side top of your JEEMA SMS Control Panel.

Once the parameters is clicked, you will be able to see the popup window where you can see a set of different parameters

Remember: Once the component is installed, you need to review all the necessary parameters here in “Global Configuration” and hit “Save” button to work perfectly.

Field Definitions – Template Options:

Template Folder – Select the template folder to be applied for front-end users.  The default template is “default”

Field Definitions – Debug Options:

Enable Log
– Enable this for debugging purpose.  This will store the API and its response in a log file which can be used to debugging purpose

Log File Path
– Specify the log file path.  The path given here will be suffixed with the Joomla root folder to form the actual path

/logs
means www.yourwebsite.com/logs

Note:
The log file will contain the username and password of the SMS HTTP URL.  This is strictly for debugging purpose.  Delete the log files immediately.  It is not recommended in production environment.

Field Definitions – Sender Options:

Sender Max Chars
– You can restrict the number of characters for a sender name

Default Sender
– The value given here will be automatically taken while creating a SMS Account for a Joomla member.  This is use full when you want a generic Sender name for all SMS Accounts.
Dynamic Sender Names – Enable this if you want to allow your members to create dynamic sender names while sending SMS.  First you need to check with your SMS gateway provider whether they provide dynamic sender names.

Auto Publish & Email Notification
– You can create a menu item to allow your members to create their own sender names.  Setting auto publish to yes will publish the sender name immediately.  Setting no, admin can view the sender name and publish the sender name.  Setting email notification to yes will send emails whenever a new sender name is created and published.

Field Definitions – Sending Options:

Enable Scheduling
– This will enable scheduling SMS.  Remember SMS scheduling is only applicable for Linux hosting provided your hosting provided allow CronJob.

Enable Macros
–This is only applicable if you have a valid entry for the mobile number in the address book.  The pattern [NAME] will be replaced by the name in the address book.

Message Prefix
– This is used for advertisement purposes.  The text given here will be prefixed with the actual SMS message sent by the user.  Account level prefix can be given in SMS Accounts.

Message Suffix
– This is used for advertisement purposes.  The text given here will be suffixed with the actual SMS message sent by the user. Account level suffix can be given in SMS Accounts.

Field Definitions – Group Options:

Enable Public Group
– Setting this will allow members can create public groups.  Refer “SMS Groups” for information.

Image Width & Image Height
– Each group can have an image as a thumbnail.  These 2 parameters define the dimensions for the image.

Image Size
– Specifies the maximum size in bytes for the image file.

Image Types
– Allowed Image formats for the image.

Image Path
– The path to store the images

Enable Captcha
Captcha is for security purposes.  This is applicable only for public groups.  The captcha will be shows when a public user is trying to subscribe or unsubscribe to a public group.

Group Count
– The maximum number of public groups that a member can create.  This can be overwritten by individual account level while creating the SMS account.

Field Definitions – Incoming SMS Options:

Master Keyword
– Define the master keyword for incoming SMS.  This is the main keyword which you configured with your SMS gateway provider.  After you define this all the sub keywords can be defined in the Keywords view.

Keywords Count
– Define the maximum number of keywords that a member can create.  This can be overwritten by individual account level while creating the SMS account.

Keywords Max Chars
– Define the maximum number of characters for a Keyword.

Field Definitions – Auto Credit Options:

Auto Credit
– Set this to enable the auto credit feature for members.  This feature will automatically credit SMS accounts defined in the auto credit view.  Refer “Auto Credit” for more details.

Number of Credits
– Default number of credits while doing the auto credit

Credit Frequency
– Default frequency (number of days) to do the auto credit

Credit Type
– Type of the credit.  Whether need to add/accumulate the new credit with the existing credits or to replace the existing credits.
Note: Disable Auto Credit Feature if you going to use SMS Packages and Payment feature.

Field Definitions – Statistics Options:

Default Days
– Define the last how many days you want to retrieve data to generate the statistics.  For example, 5 means, it will retrieve the last 5 days data to prepare the statistics information.

Number of Rows
– Define the maximum number of rows you want to show in the statistics chart.

Pie Chart Colors
– Give the various color codes to prepare the Pie-Chart.  The number of colors you define here is depending on the number of Rows.  Both should be equal.

Field Definitions Package & Payment Options:

PayPal Type – Define the paypal type you are going to use.  Use Sandbox and do the testing before you go for Live.

PayPal Currency
– The currency code you want to deal with PayPal
PayPal API Username, PayPal API Password & PayPal API Signature – You need to get this information from your PayPal profile page.
