Once the JEEMA SMS component is successfully installed, you can launch the JEEMA SMS by selecting “JEEMA SMS” from the “Components” menu.
SMS HTTP API – This is the place where you need to configure your SMS HTTP API provided by your SMS gate way
SMS Accounts – This is the place where you can manage different SMS accounts within the
Joomla members
SMS Senders – This is the place where you can manage the SMS Sender Names for different SMS Accounts
Group Categories – This is used to group the public groups into various categories. The categories can be defined only by the super administrators. Based on the categories the groups can be listed in the front-end for subscribe and unsubscribe.
SMS Group – This is the place where you can create and manage address groups. Groups can be classified into public and private groups. Private groups are not shared where as public groups can be shared with others. Website visitors can subscribe and unsubscribe to the public groups.
SMS Address Book – This is the place where you can manage the SMS address contacts for different SMS Accounts
Send SMS – This is the place where you can send SMS from the admin side. Remember the administrator who log in should have a valid SMS account and a valid sender named defined.
SMS History – This is the place where you can view all the sent SMS with its success of failure status. Remember that this component will just store the response from the gateway. The success and failure of the SMS delivery is depend on the SMS gateway.
SMS Gateway – Here is the place where you can define the incoming gateway to receive SMS. You can define multiple gateways but only one can be active.
SMS Keywords – This is the place where you can configure the incoming sub KEYWORDs. Refer the “SMS Gateway” section for more information.
Received SMS – Here you can see all the received SMS.
SMS Templates – Here is the place where you can define any pre-defined templates. This can be used while sending any SMS.
Auto Credit – This is the place where you can define which all the members can be enabled for auto credit facility. This auto credit feature do the automatically SMS credit facility for the members.
License – This wills show the JEEMA SMS License page
SMS Plug-ins – Here you can see all the JEEMA SMS
pluginsSMS Statistics – This will show you the number of SMS sent between 2 dates.
Based on SMS Account name or SMS API
SMS Packages – Here you can define various types of SMS packages. Users can buy any of these SMS packages and become member of your website.
SMS Invoices – It will list you all the payment invoices. You can View/E-mail those invoices to your members
Scheduled SMS – Here you can see all the SMS messages scheduled and its status. Remember Scheduled SMS will work only in Linux hosting provided your hosting provider allows
CronJob feature.
CSV SMS – This is where you can send your personalized SMS directly from a CSV file. More information provided in latest section of this document.
Transfer Credits – Here the administrator can see all the credits transferred between the members.
Before start sending SMS you need to do the following mandatory settings
- Setting up the SMS HTTP API & Parameters
- Create an SMS Account for administrator or any Joomla member
- Define the Sender names for administrator or any Joomla member
- Define the incoming gateway settings (in case of receiving SMS)
- In case of front-end, create the necessary menu items
